As general background information, every defendant who is sentenced to, and placed on, probation or community control is supposed to be advised of their conditions of supervision.  In some instances this does not happen, and the accused may have a defense if their conditions of supervision were not expressly outlined and reviewed.  Every probationer and individual on community control must comply with all of the conditions of their supervision in order to avoid a violation.  While on supervision there can be no new arrests.

If the supervising probation officer or community control officer believes that there has been an intentional violation, or any non compliance with the conditions of supervision, he or she will have a warrant issued for the probationer to be arrested.  In many violation of probation cases the accused may wind up sitting in jail with no bond.  If found guilty of the violation, the court can impose the maximum penalty that was possible before being placed on supervision.

Contact the premier Treasure Coast Criminal Defense Group attorney in the county where the violation of probation case is pending.  Each criminal defense lawyer is either board certified or has achieved Martindale-Hubbell’s highest “AV” rating and has had great success in defending violation of probation and violation of community control cases.  In some cases getting a bond may be possible, and getting the violation allegation dropped, or having the probation re-instated is also something each attorney will fight vigorously for.

Finding a premier criminal defense lawyer has never been easier, and we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Free Consultations are also available.
